T.U.G.G. is energy and enthusiasm personified. The Wisconsin based band crunches together the sounds ska, rock, reggae, and hip-hop. This melding of music, while powerful, pales in comparison to the interaction between the band and their fans. The band knows their creative energy both on and off the stage comes largely from their audience. Being able to release whatever pent up emotion we have as positive energy through live music, and being able to affect people by doing it is indescribable. They cite that, The bands we play with night in and night out have a heavy influence on us. In songwriting, life is our biggest influence. We write what is happening in our daily lives, and we play the emotions. Every song paints a picture of what we see going down around us.
In 2005 T.U.G.G. played 125 shows in 50 cities, across 10 states. Sometimes they went into gigs as an unknown band, but they always left as the crowd favorite. The band has opened for Slightly Stoopid and played at the 10,000 Lakes Festival, and Rock Fest. The Flow, T.U.G.G.s debut album was named a 2004 CD of the Year award winner on Kweevak Online, an independent radio station. Their latest album, Fill the Tank
